 FORKLIFT OPERATOR

 Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking Forklift Operators to join our team in Athol, Idaho. This is a swing shift position.

 

Essential Functions

  • Follow key safety processes for the facility
  • Take away units from the planer, kilns, shipping
  • Place blocks on units where needed and stack units in the lumber yard
  • Help load dry kilns and help kiln operators where needed
  • Keep species and sorts separate in the lumber yard
  • Report problems with the units coming from the stacker
  • Record a daily checklist report for quality
  • Perform daily PM and housekeeping checklist on the forklift
  • Help with new hire training and cross training of existing employees
  • Clean work areas

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 18 years of age
  • Successfully pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check 


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous forklift experience
