  • Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
  • Responsible for the reporting, documenting and safekeeping of Company's assets
  • Reconcile, troubleshoot, maintain, and audit the General Ledger
  • Monitor accounting systems, methods and procedures are reporting accurate information
  • Hold team members accountable for reliability and accuracy
  • Evaluate and resolve accounting related problems
  • Collaborate with Financial team for continuity in accounting systems, methods and procedures.
  • Assist Financial team with improvements to enhance account systems functionality, accuracy and reporting
  • Administration of team goals
  • Ensure overtime of administration staff is approved
  • Oversee the  operations of the Main Office
  • Proactively inform management of potential financial concerns, makes recommendations, and provide capacity planning/metric reports
  • Maintain governmental compliance, reporting and participate in audits as needed
  • Keep up to date on latest accounting information and regulations.
  • Monitor operational procedures to accurately analyze, forecast, and report
  • Participate in the development of project proposals with emphasis on cost/benefits
  • Supervise an administrative staff of 2
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Strong proficiency in accounting methods and procedures
  • Skilled in organizing and expressing ideas effectively in oral and written communication
  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Follow through on short and long term projects
  • Working knowledge of computer systems and networks
  • Must be capable of following strict policies, procedures, confidentiality and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advance computer skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Highly organized, analytical and action oriented
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes and standards
  • Physically perform the essential functions of the job


  • Valid Driver's License
  • Persons applying for this position should have a combination of the following experience and training:
    • Four year Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    • Five years of Public Accounting experience such as: general ledger audit, account reconciliation, financial reporting and documentation.


  • Certified Public Accountant, in good standing/active
  • Experience with computer program; Great Plains, LumberTracks, LIMS, DynaStar


  • Computers, printers
  • Cell phones, telephone, etc.



Work is performed both in an office and manufacturing environment while sitting or standing at a desk or computer. Physical exertion may be required to lift or move equipment.
