  • Assist with receiving inventory/parts, attach work orders to relevant parts, process receiving paperwork
  • Assist vendors with questions and directions with orders
  • Assist crafts with parts locations and procedures for checking out and ordering
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments as time allows at least 1 per week once inventory is officially organized
  • Package and ship out repairs/returns in timely manner adjust inventory level to reflect part out or returned, complete PR for Quote paperwork and pull any returns from file folder
  • Keep work area clean and organized
  • Be willing and able to assist in any other manner required including but not limited to: training others, assisting Purchaser, assisting Planner and warehouse inventory organization throughout the mill site
  • Coordinate set-up and implementation of tag system for warehouse and satellite parts areas. Updates work orders from Dynastar Maintenance System as parts are received
  • Work with Purchaser, Planner, Lead Mechanic, Lead Electrician and Maintenance Supervisor on setup for all warehouses on mill site
  • Generate and revise tags for inventory needs
  • Ensure parts available for scheduled work

Qualifications Required:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and Dynastar (computerized maintenance management system)
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Maintenance or shipping/receiving background preferable
